This year sees the launch of the first ever Scottish Accountancy Awards. The financial services sector in Scotland is one of the most buoyant in the UK and has seen significant growth over the years. For this reason Scottish Business Insider, in conjunction with title sponsor Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets & associate sponsor Hudson Accounting and Finance have created this prestigious event, which will give important recognition of achievement in the Scottish accountancy and finance sectors.

An independent panel of highly respected financial and business leaders will judge many of the awards. In addition the views of the industry will be reflected by inviting readers to vote. The eventual finalists and winners will enjoy extensive recognition for their success.

The awards will be presented at an awards ceremony and dinner on Thursday 22nd May 2008 at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.
